Part 5 - Delphi Form Designer

This screencast supplements the Delphi help topic "Form Designer". It is the fifth part of our screencast series "Getting Started with Delphi". In it we cover three form designers:

  • Visual forms that use both visual and non-visual components
  • DataModules that only use non-visual components
  • Web pages that have a tool palette of standard HTML controls

In addition to the designer itself we also discuss:

  • How to see a text view of the .dfm file
  • How to add the different form types to a project
  • How to add other document types (like xml files) to the project
  • How to add a form to the Object Repository
  • Creation order for non-visual components on a form

The original video was created at 1280x720 and designed for YouTube HD viewing.
